The Sydney University Musical Society Small Group is our auditioned chamber choir that represents the society in promotional events and functions around Sydney. The group was brought to life in 2014 under the baton of Ellison Luk and then Sinéad Border in 2017, followed by Mackenzie Shaw in 2019, and Oliver Golding and Andres Wong in 2022. Small Group performs in weddings, publicity events such as the Sydney University Great Hall Lighting Ceremony, and functions such as Christmas Carols at David Jones. It also features in SUMS concerts as a smaller solo ensemble. In 2023, Oliver Golding continues as musical director.
